The PL in the name was taken from the address of the Rolls-Royce and Bentley factory in Crewe. The Crewe factory is in Pym’s Lane and thus the PL of PL Motors.

PL Motors opened in 1993 and has since then achieved the stated aim to provide sales, service, repairs and parts for Heritage cars, both Bentley and Rolls-Royce. The Company is not part of any large Corporate Company and rather has prided itself in being a privately owned entity.

There are few such establishments in South Africa and indeed the only one of it’s size and technical experience. It is therefore geared to provide sound technical expertise to the discerning customer, from the purchase to the service and repair of the vehicle.

The sales side has provided many new owners over the space of 15 years and it is through the dedicated approach to customer satisfaction that the owners of these wonderful products have loved and cherished their vehicles for many a year. In fact, such is the love for these cars that it is fair to say that many people have owned 1 of the vehicles, then 2 and some even into the double figures.

The technical expertise cannot be equaled in any other establishment in South Africa. The love and dedication to the product, the understanding that the owner cherishes the vehicle have all gone a long way to establishing a trust in this expertise. It is indeed nice to know that there are people who are as anxious to keep the vehicles in pristine condition both mechanically and aesthetically as you, the owner.

The ethos will remain: to provide exemplary service to the few who appreciate and cherish superb motoring and the preservation of the marques. It will also remain imperative to provide a friendly and relaxing environment for the enjoyment of the owners.
